Westchester Magazine editors were among the 300 lucky guests who got to check out the county’s newest bowling alley, Bowlmor White Plains, on March 25, 2015 during a private grand opening party held a day before it opened to the public. The 60,000-square-foot venue is a far cry from the former White Plains Bowl, with features that include: 56 bowling lanes on two levels (the lower level has a nightclub atmosphere with backlight lanes, a DJ booth, a bar, and a fireside lounge), a top-notch arcade (they’ve got the impressive walk-in Star Wars Battle Pod along with more-casual games like Mario Kart), and, as we mentioned on our Eat. Drink. Post. blog, giant food designed by Executive Chef Ed Porter—winner of Food Network’s Guy’s Grocery Games.
