“Blue is really gaining momentum as a hot wedding color,” says Rosado-Silver. With so many shades to choose from, you can go with pale shades, or opt for midnight blue. Can’t choose? Mix different hues like Buds & Events did here for a eye-catching layered look.

“The inspiration behind this look was a tiled mosaic in different shades of blue. We used blue hydrangea and delphinium in the centerpieces and mixed up the linen colors. The white and gold accents tied everything together and really helped all of the blue elements pop,” says Rosado-Silver.

Pretty In Pink

Don’t want to be married to a single type of décor at the reception? Mix your favorites together for one cohesive look. “Mixing modern and tropical, this sweetheart table makes a big statement with three centerpieces of varying heights,” says Rosado-Silver. “Each place setting is finished off with a bud vase that doubles as a place-card holder or menu holder.”

Light up your life with a smarter bulb

White is a very traditional wedding color, but it’s not only for the wedding dress anymore. You can plan your entire wedding around this pure color, incorporating metallics, jewels, or pearls, to give it a more glamorous feel. 

“This soft, romantic look (see page 17) features an escort card table with an over-the-top floral urn that has baby’s breath spilling out of the top,” says Rosado-Silver.

“The pearl accent on each card ties in with the pearls near the base of the urn,” says Rosado-Silver. 

And don’t forget the favors. For this reception, each guest went home with an individual bottle of Chandon tied off with a white satin ribbon for an extra-special touch.
