This farm and orchard makes a mean apple cider donut. It’s so good, in fact, that people drive from New Jersey and Long Island once they’re in season just to get one. You won’t go wrong with any of the choices: sugar, cinnamon sugar, or plain.

Boxer Donut—the smallest shop in Nyack—definitely packs a punch. One of its most notorious offerings is its maple bacon donut, and it’s easy to see why: the donut is infused and topped with candied bacon (which is soaked in maple syrup), then coated in caramelized sugar and left to bake for hours—well worth the drive across the river.

The winner of our glazed donut taste test, Ossining Bakery’s glazed donut garnered glowing remarks from the editorial team at Westchester Magazine.
