For moisture control without that plastic feeling that some technical fabrics give, Antigua has constructed fabrics with fine cotton fibers blended with synthetic filaments to create Desert Dry Performance Cotton. The company has also introduced Desert Dry Xtra-Lite, which combines the Desert Dry moisture-wicking feature with specially constructed ultra-light fabrics that feel like cotton, but handle perspiration like poly. When it comes to looks, Sean Gregg, Antigua’s director of product development and marketing support, says “each piece offers defined and refined lines and angles both symmetric and asymmetric.”
Women golfers are getting more apparel choices, too. AUR’s Luminance Collection, for example, includes the Bentley Polo, which features an athletic yet sophisticated racer-back design, with contrast placket, and The Luminance Collection’s signature enamel buttons. It’s constructed from AUR’s proprietary Active-Cool fabric, making the polo lightweight and breathable. It also provides excellent UV protection.
