3 New Wedding Venues We Love

From reclaimed industrial spaces to green fields with Hudson River views.

One of the best things about Hudson Valley wedding venues is that they come in all shapes, sizes, and styles. While many couples come here looking for rustic barns or stately manors, we’re also seeing increasing demand for historic industrial venues and wide-open spaces where the Hudson Valley’s natural beauty steals the show.

Hudson Loft, Irvington

Built in the 1950s, this dilapidated warehouse in downtown Irvington got a much-need restoration and reopened last summer as a dreamy wedding venue with stunning Hudson River views. With 6,600 sq. ft. of event space, it’s a blank canvas for couples who want a unique look and feel, complete with exposed beams and ductwork.

Globe Hill at Ronnybrook Farm, Pine Plains

The Hudson Valley’s rolling landscapes are a big draw for couples planning to tie the knot outside NYC. Globe Hill, a new venue from renowned dairy Ronnybrook Farm, offers 360 degrees of gorgeous landscapes (just imagine tying the knot here surrounded by fall foliage) and great support from local vendors, including event planner Monica Relyea, who oversees all weddings onsite. To keep a bespoke feel, the venue only books a limited number of weddings per month from May to October. Another plus: Ronnybrook will create custom ice creams (or butters) for your wedding day.

Venue fees start at $10,000; www.ronnybrook.com/weddings

Senate Garage, Kingston

The Senate Garage offers the best of both worlds. Located in the Senate House State Historic Site, this beautifully restored 1921 garage sits on a four acre green park, and many ceremonies take place on the surrounding grounds. The 7,500 sq. ft. brick space is a great fit for couples who want an industrial feel without the responsibility of planning everything (catering, rentals, day-of coordination) from scratch.
