The riverfront village of Irvington is well known for its stunning panoramic views of the Hudson River. Walking though the post-card worthy town, you will found dozens of small businesses and restaurants along its tree-lined streets. Its namesake is great American author Washington Irving whose estate, Sunnyside, is located nearby.  The Stiner-Ross House, McVickar House, and the Washington Irving Memorial are just some of the historic locations scattered throughout Irvington. The Old Croton Aqueduct runs through the village, adding more beauty to the already charming Irvington.
