The top colors for 2025 span a range of hues. Which ones will you test out in your home? Here, local designers share tips on how to introduce them to your space.
I’m obsessed with Benjamin Moore’s Cinnamon Slate! A super versatile color, I’d love to see it mixed with plaster or used in moody spaces. It would also be beautiful as a kitchen accent—such as an island. The color would pair well with William Morris prints or wallpaper, which is a current trend in design, with the rise of Modern Cottage and Grandmillenial styles.

Sherwin-Williams’ Chartreuse is a bold yet versatile color that captures the essence of modern luxury and creates a striking statement in any space. We love it for its ability to energize interiors while still offering a sense of sophistication and warmth. Whether as a pop of color or a bold feature, chartreuse adds personality and depth to a room, making it unforgettable!”

The deep, velvety red of Behr’s Rumors reminds me of Dorothy’s ruby slippers—sure to add drama to any space! I’d use it to enhance the back of a bookshelf, or I would paint a vintage dresser or side table with it. The color is sexy—and in my opinion less (revealing) is more!
