The Kips Bay Decorator Show House opened May 1 at the Mansion on Madison at 457 Madison Avenue, New York, and will be open through May 29 for tours. This annual event is the premier fundraiser for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, a local youth development agency in the Bronx and flagship of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Twenty-two of the nation’s most acclaimed interior designers and architects, including Ellie Cullman, William T. Georgis, Juan Montoya, and Vicente Wolf, had eight weeks to transform their assigned space in the historic Villard Mansion, built in 1884 by the renowned architecture firm McKim, Mead & White.
