Cashmere Trunk Show
With the weather cooling down, it’s time to stock up on sweaters. And what better fabric than cashmere? At Lola in Rye (80 Purchase St; 914-9213162), Queen of Cashmere, which makes pretty custom monogrammed Scottish cashmere sweaters, is having a trunk show from October 10-16.
Bra Trade-In
If you’re in the market for a new bra and would like to get rid of some old bras, stop by Dorothy Stein in Scarsdale (707 White Plains Rd; 914-723-6111) for their 5th annual Trade-In sale. For every gently used, nearly new or new bra you bring in, you’ll get $10 off the cost of a new bra in-store. There’s no limit to how many you can trade in, and your donations will go to benefit the Breast Cancer Network of Strength, a breast cancer support group based in Chicago, which gives bras to those in need.
