7 Thanksgiving Tables to Set the Holiday Scene in Westchester

Hosting for the first time this year? Just in time for the holiday, get inspired by these beautiful tablescapes sure to wow your family.

‘Tis the season for gatherings of friends and family. Thanksgiving marks the first big holiday this season, and we always like to start things off with a bang, especially when it comes to our tablescape.

Whether you dress your Thanksgiving table to the nines like these examples below or you take inspiration from each of these and create your own scaled-down version, your table should welcome guests and make them feel special.

This could mean adding place cards to each setting, favors for them to take with them, or just a beautiful centerpiece you made yourself. Think about these details ahead of the holiday so it’s exactly what it should be — beautiful, not stressful.

Vintage and Chic

This table features a mix of vintage, modern, and rustic finds and is from White Buffalo. She took a floral napkin and used it as inspiration and then layered it with wood, candles, and heirloom and colored pumpkins. There is a striped table runner and green goblets to pull out that pop of color.

Colorful Table

One of our favorite places to look for tablescape inspiration is Casa de Perrin’s Instagram account. They not only sell some of the most beautiful dinnerware, but they create the most elegant and inspirational tablescapes. This one in particular caught our eye because of the cool color palette. We love when someone takes something so quintessentially fall, like small pumpkins, and flips it on its head.

Comfort Colors

We are loving the rustic colors and gold accents on this table décor from Solino Home. If you’re looking to set your Thanksgiving table like this, you can purchase the classic hemstitch cinnamon napkins and table runner from the website along with other festive sets to add a pop of color to your table.

Traditional and Tasteful

When we look at this table setting from Home is Where the Boat Is, since it immediately makes us think of Thanksgiving. We love the use of traditional fall colors, plaid, Tom Turkey plates, pumpkins, greenery, and the addition of candles for a little brilliance.

Rustic and Real

This table is so versatile it could work for Thanksgiving all the way through Christmas. We love the mix of greenery and wood to create a rustic look, but then the addition of silver candlesticks in various heights and sizes adds a bit of glamour.

Simple and Modern

This table from Lemon Thistle could not be easier to create. Just take kraft paper and use it as a tablecloth. Then create place settings on the paper with a black marker. Down the center use hurricane candles, greenery, some white pumpkins, and voila. The result is a table that is easy, yet super cool.

Floral Beauty

This table is a little bit of DIY, since some things are borrowed and other things are bought. It’s the perfect example to show you that you can create a stunning table without having a lot of things to start with. Amy from Homey Oh My started by creating copper striped candles and then used the same how-to for small, white pumpkins. She created place cards from fun scrapbook paper (black and white polka dot). In the center, she created colorful floral bouquets. And she finished it with a table runner she borrowed from her boyfriend’s grandmother.
