FOX Nation’s Kacie McDonnell goes prime time, taking us inside lavish homes of the ultra-elite, starting right here in Westchester County.
If you’ve watched FOX Business Network’s “FBN Prime” prime time block in the last few weeks, you might have caught host Kacie McDonnell and her Wall Street Journal feature-turned-series Mansion Global. You might also have caught this Westchester County home.
Started last year, Mansion Global is a 30-minute program which finds McDonnell jet-setting around the country to peer inside “the most lavish properties in the country, from mega mansions to high-priced high rises for a peek inside luxury real-estate listings.” And where better to start this new prime time block than Westchester’s most exclusive neighborhoods?
The first home, 577 Millwood Rd in Chappaqua, is a 7,000-plus-square-foot colonial originally built in 1906 with five bedrooms, five baths, four half-baths, and quintessential Westchester vibes. The 7.29 acres host a bevy of entertaining options, from billiards and exercise rooms to the massive patio with outdoor barbecue station, fire pits, and heated in-ground pool. The price tag from Douglas Elliman? $5,900,000. Pretty tame, by Westchester standards.
The second home, 410 Grace Church St in Rye, might be gorgeous but it should also look somewhat familiar — we profiled several other houses on Grace Church St before, including this property’s opulent $14,990,000 next-door neighbor. The 1.65-acre estate features idyllic views of the Long Island Sound, gated entry (naturally), and ample living space. Plenty of architectural details lend an air of sophistication to every room, including the guest wing and mahogany porch. And when life gets too hard, you can just retire to the serenity of your own outdoor pool and spa. Houlihan Lawrence lists the property at a cool $8,490,000.
You can catch these Westchester homes, and hopefully more to come, Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on FOX Business Network.
