Houlihan Lawrence Announces Liz Nunan As New President

Her promotion is tied to further executive shake-ups at the company, including Chris Meyers’s move to CEO and Stephen Meyers to Chairman.

Liz Nunan has been promoted to president of Houlihan Lawrence, replacing now-CEO Chris Meyers in the role. The former Chief Operating Officer will head this 30-year-old real estate company, whose over 1300 agents, across 30 offices, work properties in the suburbs of New York City. Her promotion is tied to further executive shake-ups at the company, including Chris Meyers’s move to CEO and Stephen Meyers to Chairman.

Nunan’s history as a licensed real estate broker began at Fox and Lazo Realtors in Philadelphia, and she has been at Houlihan Lawrence for over 20 years. Before her 2018 promotion to COO, she led the company’s Global Business Development team. She has also been a member of the National Association of Realtors’ Board of Directors since 2006, and from 2014-2017 she served on the Board of the Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service.

In the past, Nunan has focused on luxury real estate and corporate relocation, and Houlihan Lawrence certainly focuses on upscale properties: recent deals include Tom Brokaw’s 37-acre compound, which sold for $4.25 million, and a $1.155 million, 2500-square foot Tudor-style home in Larchmont. Their properties are frequently featured in the New York Times Real Estate section. They work in the lower-Hudson counties, as well as in Connecticut.
