In collaboration with the Northern Westchester/Putnam Woman’s Coalition which deals with domestic violence, Bloomingdales will be accepting bags of clothes for women and children who have been forced to leave their homes as victims of abuse in their charity event this week.
Those who bring bags of clothing for the center will receive a receipt from the center and will be rewarded with an evening of free gifts, appetizers, beverages, and a sneak peek at the new clothes for the fall as the store begins to unveil their fall clothing line. For busy working families, a representative from My Divine Consierge will also offer free tips on getting organized for the fall.
The event will take place September 12, 2009 from 1-7pm on the 2nd floor by the Personal shopping department.
