Starting this week, from time-to-time I’m going to be bringing you a new (or sometimes classic) book that we love here at Westchester Home.
These are mostly coffee table books, some very useful packed with a lot of information about gardening or design, but they all have one thing in common no matter what they’re about: they’re beautiful!
First up is a new book that just came out in January. It is called The Complete Book of Home Organization and it is written by organization blogger Toni Hammersley.
When you think of spring, everyone thinks about spring cleaning and organizing. What better way to jump start your endeavors at home with this fabulous book.
Not only is it beautifully photographed, but it is also super useful. It is organized into three parts: Kitchen and Dining, Living and Storage, and Working and Outdoor.
The author realizes that we all want to have an organized home, but that life sometimes gets in the way so she shares quick tips, big plans for when you have more time, and lists to get everything done, which we love.
I especially love her sections on how to build a mudroom, tackling clutter, and how to build in storage. These solutions look beautiful and are really functional making them easier to keep up with.
