From its showroom inside The Westchester, Arhaus offers a curated selection of elegant furniture and home accessories.
Westchester homes from Scarsdale to Somers now have a new option for home furnishings and decor with the opening of Arhaus on the third floor of The Westchester in White Plains. The almost-20,000-square-foot sunlit showroom features unique heirloom pieces, from an iron bar cabinet crafted by artisans in India to a sustainably sourced tamarind coffee table. “The showroom showcases our products in a way that is both inspirational and aspirational,” says Hannah Wickberg Champaign, head of public relations for Arhaus, which was founded in 1986. “When clients walk into the showroom, we want them to envision that it could be an extension of their own homes. We put as much detail and attention into our showrooms as we do into our products.”
While customers may be familiar with Arhaus from nearby stores in New Jersey and Connecticut, the company was committed to opening a store in White Plains for its proximity to the city and as a commercial hub in the heart of the county.
The on-site complimentary design team helps create beautiful bespoke interiors, bringing a client’s vision to life by utilizing natural materials and a variety of textures, whether the project involves furnishing an entire house, updating a primary suite, or creating the perfect oasis with outdoor furniture to adorn your deck or pool. Their design team can offer support for every stage of the design process either in-store, virtually, or in your home. “We encourage clients to come into our store when possible to engage with our pieces up close and in-person,” notes Wickberg Champaign. From inviting swivel chairs in knubby bouclé fabrics to sectional sofas in earth-friendly fabrics, you might just be tempted to kick your feet up and follow her advice.
