Mendori Lamps From MoMA Will Light Up Your Life

Intricate lamps for any room, and it’s all environmentally friendly.

Here’s a mathematical equation we can appreciate: Issey Miyake’s first lamp design created using a mathematical program and origami techniques. Added bonus: it is made in Italy from recycled plastic bottles. The Mendori Lamp (17.5 h x 19 w x19.75 deep), currently featured in MoMA’s Applied Design: From Chairs to Videogames, New Acquisitions in the Design Collection, is available at www.momastore.org for $1,260.
