10th Annual Healthcare Heroes Awards
We need your help to honor those who care for us.
Do you know someone who has really risen to the occasion, someone who makes a profound difference in lives of others by being an exemplar of both dedication and self-sacrifice in pursuit of health and well-being in Westchester County? If you do, here is a chance to make sure they get the recognition and thanks they so richly deserve. At the 10th Annual Healthcare Heroes Awards, we will celebrate these amazing individuals, who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to heal and relieve the suffering of others.
Westchester Magazine is seeking Healthcare Heroes nominations for individuals in all healthcare settings and beyond. This includes hospitals, clinics, home healthcare and hospice care, schools, health departments, long-term care, municipal employees, first responders, frontline workers, emergency services, private medical practices, philanthropists, administrators, businesspeople, volunteers, and basically anyone, in any industry, whose work directly benefits or helps ensure, improve, or restore the quality of health for residents of the county.
Our panel of expert judges, in concert with our in-house editorial committee, will assess each nominee before voting for those they deem the most deserving. After the finalists have been determined, these Healthcare Heroes will be profiled in our May 2023 issue and celebrated at a special awards luncheon in their honor.
Editor’s Note: Healthcare Heroes is not a popularity contest, so the number of nominations a candidate receives does not improve his/her chances of reaching the winners’ circle. The quality of a nomination is the sole criterion used to determine who will advance in the competition, especially when the nomination is both detailed and fact-rich (or what we call “measurables”). Nominations that may be heartfelt but lack substance usually do not make it to the final round.
