I’ve unlocked the Naan-Sense badge on Foursquare, so you have no reason to doubt me: Neha Palace has one of the best Indian lunch buffets in Westchester. It adjoins Cross County Shopping Center behind the multiplex movie theater, but you can’t get there from here—you must go around the block to find this palace next to a Toyota service center. The large restaurant sometimes hosts a comedy club, and its dinner menu includes unusual options such as chicken kali mirch (black peppercorns), lychee paneer, many goat dishes, and Indian-Chinese food.
While, regrettably, I didn’t get there for dinner this go-round, I must say, the lunch buffet was excellent: saag paneer bursting with fresh spinach (I detected part of a stem); creamy, just-right daal; excellent chicken tandoori and Makhani; delicate, glistening naan. Dessert was fruit-studded burfi, just sweet enough.
