A German And An Argentine Cocktail For Your World Cup Enjoyment

With only a few hours until the 2014 FIFA World Cup final in Brazil, we think it’s high time for a toast. Impress your fútbol– (or Fußball-) loving friends with these cocktails — one for each team. (We’re such good sports.)

If you’re rooti​ng for: Germany

Make this: Ketel One Glühwein

Created by mixologist Jaren Singh, Nolet Spirits U.S.A.

  • 750 ml Ketel One vodka
  • 3 oz Kirsch
  • 1500 ml grape juice
  • 10 sugar cubes
  • 1 (3 inch) cinnamon stick
  • 1 whole nutmeg
  • 1 whole star anise pod
  • 1½ bags mixed berries (frozen)
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  1. Combine the Ketel One, sugar cubes, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, and star anise in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the mixture begins to foam
  2. Remove from heat and transfer to a slow cooker to keep warm. Stir in the frozen mixed berries and their juice; add the Kirsch and the orange slices
  3. Strain out all ingredients
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes
  5. Serve chilled in a glass mug

Make this: Ketel One Clerico

Serves 8-10

  • 1 bottle BV Coastal Estates Sauvignon Blanc
  • 6 oz Ketel One Oranje
  • 3 oz Grand Marnier
  • 3 oz pomegranate juice
  • 3 oz orange juice
  • 2 oz white grape juice
  • 3 oz lemon juice
  • 2 oz simple syrup
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher half-filled with ice. Stir
  2. Pour into a wine glass filled with ice
  3. Garnish with raspberries and pomegranate seeds
