Taiim Cellar has reinvented itself a few times since opening a year and a half ago, morphing from a Middle Eastern wine bar with a limited menu into a sumptuously redecorated Mediterranean restaurant—and now they’ve introduced a new menu (not even on their website yet, as of this writing) dominated by Spanish-style tapas and panini.
But one constant has been the fabulous wine, and on Sunday, July 20, they’re hosting their first Food & Wine Pairing Evening in collaboration with Golan Heights Winery (Wine Enthusiast New World Winery of the Year, 2012), whose winemaker will be on hand. Enjoy six courses pairing tapas from the new menu with some of Israel’s finest wines—dining al fresco, if you wish, at their new seasonal outdoor seating.
Seatings at 5 pm and 8 pm; reservations necessary: (914) 723-6900; $95
