Westchester’s Annual Wine & Food Festival Returns This June

Calling all foodies! Our annual Wine & Food Festival returns to Westchester this June, and you won't want to miss it.

Another year, another unforgettable event lineup! Whether you’re looking for a new favorite wine or want to sample delectable bites from renowned chefs, Westchester magazine’s annual Wine & Food Festival is a celebration for all taste buds. Come join the fun and explore Westchester’s vibrant culinary scene this June 3-8, during which time top chefs like David Burke and Anthony Gonçalves, as well as award-winning wine writer and educator Kevin Zraly, will help spotlight just how magnificent the food and drink scene around the 914 can be.

Pro tip: Since each day of the Wine & Food Festival brings with it a different event (or events!), food lovers would do well to plan their week in advance and secure tickets before they sell out.

Perfect Pairings of Wine & Food With Kevin Zraly

The Briarcliff Manor, Briarcliff Manor
June 3, 6-9 p.m.

A wine tasting and creative cuisine at The Briarcliff Manor? Count us in! Renowned wine expert and author Kevin Zraly will lead a wine and food pairing experience for chance to use your palate and learn about wine. Zraly has been teaching wine for 50 years and has written eight books about wine and food. Fun fact: He hitchhiked to California to visit all the state’s wineries. ZWILLING Knife Skills Class

ZWILLING, Pleasantville
June 3, 5-7:30 p.m.

Sharpen your skills and knives with a knife skills class led by the experts at ZWILLING in Pleasantville. This interactive class will teach you how to maintain, clean, and store your knives. Additionally, you’ll learn how to chop and dice onions, herbs, citrus fruits, and more. After this, you’ll be a master knife cutter and meal prepper in no time. Party on the Pier

Playland Park, Rye
June 4, 6-9 p.m.

Head on over to the Playland Park boardwalk overlooking the Long Island Sound to enjoy food trucks from different vendors and summer favorites from local restaurants like The Taco Project and Brooklyn Organic Kitchen. Plus, savor beer, wine, cocktails, and live music as you stroll. Bartenders and cocktail lovers won’t want to miss the seventh annual Bartender Shake-off, featuring past champions Natalia Atehortua from Divino Cucina Italiana and Veronica Kallas from ISCO. They will be facing three-time champion Emilio Ugarte from RiverMarket Bar and Kitchen.

Burger & Beer Blast

Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla
June 5, 5-9:30 p.m.

An essential event for burger lovers across Westchester County, the Burger & Beer Blast will host 30 local restaurants competing for the title of best signature burger. Guests will sample a wide variety of burgers before voting for their favorite. In addition to burgers, keep an eye out for food trucks, wine, and spirits. Stick around until the end of the event to see which eatery takes home the title and gets to savor burger stardom. Get your tickets here.

Wine Collector’s Dinner

Kanopi, White Plains
June 6, 6:30-10 p.m.

Wine connoisseurs, enthusiasts, and sommeliers will love this event. The wine collector’s dinner features a luxe showcase of unique, vintage wines with a champagne reception. After tasting exquisite wines, guests will enjoy a one-of-a-kind dinner from top Westchester chef Anthony Gonçalves. There is limited seating, so make sure to grab your tickets before they sell out. Grand Tasting Village

June 7, 12-4 p.m.

The Grand Tasting Village will feature tastings from 40-plus local restaurants and more than 200 wines and spirits, along with chef demonstrations. Wine expert and educator Kevin Zraly will also be leading wine seminars with a focus on vintage wines that will be served in the Connoisseurs Tent.
