Where To Watch The Super Bowl In Westchester

X2O – Xaviar’s on the Hudson

71 Water Grant St, Yonkers
(914) 965-1111

Peter Kelly’s menu for Super Bowl Sunday at X2O is not for the feint of heart for three reasons. First, it commands top dollar at a not-your-neighborhood-wing-special $125. But it’s worth it for the second reason: The menu offers just about everything you could ever want on Super Bowl Sunday at an open bar with shrimp, sliders, hotdogs, truffle popcorn, antipasti, and more. Main courses include cowboy ribeye, rack of lamb, and salmon. The third reason? Dessert will be served in the 4th quarter.

Ron Black’s

Listen up, beer lovers: If the idea of having 40 beer varieties at your fingertips during the Super Bowl appeals to you, this is your spot. On game day, look for pitcher specials like $13 Bud Light, $15 Shock Top, and $18 Stella Artois; free Buffalo wings at the bar (we know, this alone makes it worthwhile); and a huge wing platter (Buffalo or BBQ, served with carrots, celery, and blue cheese) of 90-100 wings for $125, or 45-50 wings for $75.

The Brazen Fox

175 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains
(914) 358-5911

If “free wings” sounds good to you, the Brazen Fox will be handing them out during game time at the bar. Pitcher specials include $13 Bud Light, $15 Shock Top Belgian White, $18 Stella Artois and $18 Lagunitas. And there are wings to-go specials.

Zuppa Restaurant & Lounge

59 Main St, Yonkers
(914) 376-6500

For the fifth year in a row, Zuppa will break from its standard Italian menu and offer a prix fixe menu in honor of the Super Bowl. Game-watching and eating will be in the bar area, complete with three screens, one of which is a 100-inch projection TV. For $60, enjoy beer and wine (on-tap local brews include Yonkers Brewing Co. and beers from the Tri-state area and Hudson Valley), plus a host of game day favorites with a Zuppa (read: gourmet Italian) twist. Offerings include four types of assorted pizzas, an antipasto bar with snacks like soppressata prosciutto and baked flat bread with rosemary, olive oil, and sea salt. There will also be pepperoncini chicken wings with Gorgonzola fondue, two types of sliders, arancini risotto rice balls, a pasta station, and a zeppola (Italian donut) bar.

Featuring “hoppy hour,” Growler’s will be offering two styles of beer: one from each of the team’s (the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, in case you forgot) respective areas for $4. There will be screens inside and outside, of course, so you wont be at a loss if you choose not to brave the outdoors. But take it from us that it’s absolutely worth dressing warm and bearing the chill—tailgate at Growler’s means barbeque, free pretzel-bread footballs up for grabs at half-time, and all the half-priced wings your stomach desires.

Beechmont Tavern

750 North Ave, New Rochelle
(914) 636-9533

Just to give you an idea of how popular Beechmont is on game day, the New Rochelle location there’s two—one in White Plains as well) usually sells anywhere from 12,000 to 15,000 wings over the days course. So, clearly that’s one reason crowds pack this place, but others are a $30 open bar, buffet at half time, plus anything from the standard menu. In addition to their five flavors of wings (hot, teriyaki, wild and barbeque and of course the crowd favorite house-made specialty, mild) this year, they added garlic parm, sweet chili and sweet teriyaki to your wing flavor options.

This year the Coors Light Girls are coming to do a promotion including $3 Coors Light draft.
