Patissier Maarten Steenman opened La Tulipe in 1999 after graduating from the Dutch Culinary School for patisserie and traveling through Europe perfecting his craft. The bakery has been an elegant staple of Westchester for nearly 23 years and, this holiday season, Steeman is serving French apple tart with thinly sliced apple and almond pastry cream, traditional coconut macaroons, and a few more cake options.
