Westchester County loves us some food trucks. That’s why, when it came to putting together a lineup of top-tier chuck wagons for this year’s Westchester Magazine Wine & Food Festival, we wasted no time in tracking down some of the most popular mobile bistros. Here are seven Westchester County food trucks you need to know.

Kinwich prides itself on its “proper sandwiches,” which are rivaled only by its mouthwatering burgers and wraps. Keep an eye out for combinations like the Shroom Boy (fried oyster mushrooms, lettuce and tomato, and vegan mayo on focaccia) and the Banh Mi Wrap, fashioned from tempeh, cucumber, pickled carrot and radish, cilantro, and sriracha mayo.

Melt Mobile offers exciting variations on a classic American sandwich — the grilled cheese. Adding some meat between the cheese? Rest assured, meats and produce selections at the food truck are high quality, fresh, and organic. For those with a sweet tooth, consider the cheesecake melt (NY cheesecake with pound cake as bookends) or the indomitable fluffernutter: caramelized bananas, marshmallow fluff, Belgian chocolate, and peanut butter on crunchy Tuscan bread with powdered sugar. Say when.

Ramblin Coffee is the brainchild of Bryan Lantier, who cashed out his retirement plan to dive headfirst into the coffee and food truck business. Trusting in the “take the coffee shop to the customer” mentality, Ramblin offers a new take on the espresso experience, providing café-grade texture and flavor on wheels. It’s a must for locally roasted and sustainably farmed goodness in every cup.
