Christian Petroni is a bit of a big name here in the county, but in the coming weeks it just might get even bigger. Petroni has landed himself in the final three of Food Network Star, and this Sunday at 9 p.m. we’ll watch him compete for a chance to record the pilot to his very own Food Network show.

In the coming episode, titled “Who Gets a Pilot?,” a formally eliminated contestant makes their return after a win on Food Network’s spin-off show Star Salvation, bringing the total number of competitors back to four. With the rest of the eliminated competitors working as sous chefs, the final four will battle to determine which three will shoot their own pilot episode. Former Food Network Star winners Tregaye Fraser and Jason Smith will be on hand to help determine which three earn the honor, and we’re hoping they love Petroni’s larger-than-life culinary style just as much as Westchester does.
