Ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Westchester County? If you’d prefer to skip the meal out and plan a romantic evening for you and your sweetie at home, we totally get it. That’s why we want to help you start your evening off right with a delicious craft cocktail to set the mood. Go for the Love Nectar recipe if you’re feeling the fruity flavors, or stick with Cupid’s Potion if you want a classic Valentine’s Day drink. Either way, let’s cheers to love!
Love Nectar
Ingredients:
2 oz Casamigos Tequila Blanco (or substitute tequila)
10 Concord grapes
1 oz Apple cider
½ oz Agave nectar
½ oz Lemon juice
1 red apple, sliced thinly
Directions:
Place grapes into the base of a cocktail shaker and crush with a muddler. Add remaining ingredients in to a cocktail shaker filled with cubed ice. Shake hard and strain over ice into an old fashioned glass. Garnish with a fan of sliced red apples.
Cupid’s Potion
Ingredients:
2 oz Casamigos Tequila Blanco (or substitute tequila)
¼ oz Pomegranate molasses
¼ oz Simple syrup
½ oz Lemon juice
¼ oz Egg white
Directions:
Add all ingredients to an empty cocktail shaker, shake to combine ingredient and emulsify egg white. Add cubed ice to the shaker and shake hard, strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a rosebud or a pomegranate.
