The fall brings a distinct hustle and bustle to Westchester County. School is back in session, the orchards are ripe, and that long-vacant retail space is donning a vibrant and welcoming banner that reads “Spirit Halloween.” However, for many of us, there is no better signifier of autumn’s arrival than football games on TV. Whether it’s a college matchup on Saturday afternoon or the hometown crew on Sunday night, a pint of icy domestic and an appetizer sampler platter will have you feeling like the true champion. These are some of the top bars in Westchester to order up the apps and watch a game this fall.

Patrons are enjoying frosty glasses of sunshine-colored ale and watching football on large screens throughout the house. Winning best bar pie in Westchester Magazine’s 2023 Best of Westchester Awards, Beekman Ale House’s bar pie is the go-to here, and you don’t want to miss it. A buttery, thin crust with crispy edges is cut into eight shareable slices, although you should order one all for yourself.
