Where to Get Frozen Hot Chocolate in Westchester

While we’re still excited to check the weather and be able to spend the weekend outside, we’ve created a list of frozen hot chocolate spots around Westchester for you to hit up and cool down before you’ll be doing the alternative.

In its 13th year at this chocolate factory, this blend of milk, ice, and homemade cocoa mix is, “comforting, if that can be used for a cold drink,” says owner, Maria Valente.

While your whipped cream-topped creation is in the blender, enjoy the open layout of the shop welcoming you to observe an assortment of treats being made.

You’ve probably tried a root beer float, but have you ever heard of a hot cocoa float? This local ice cream shot puts the frozen in its hot chocolate by adding a scoop of their homemade, all-natural ice cream.

Blue Tulip Chocolates

For devoted chocolate lovers, our Best of Westchester 2019 winner for “Artisan Box of Chocolates” will surely satisfy your craving. The drink is made from a mix of Belgian and French chocolate ganache and fresh whipped milk and cream.

Each cup is topped with shredded chocolate and comes in a few different flavors: dark, raspberry, Madagascar vanilla, and a seasonal monthly special flavor, like peppermint in December.

Peekskill Coffee House

This local gem is known for its coffee but includes plenty of blended drinks on its menu. For those looking to ditch the caffeine while keeping that sweetness in their order, try going a little off the menu and opting for a frozen hot chocolate — with either peanut butter or toasted marshmallow.

Frozen drinks are a specialty here with many flavors to choose from, so ordering a frozen hot chocolate is a classic. For a way to perk things up, try ordering one with a shot of coffee.
