Get Your Mac ‘N’ Cheese Donuts — Yes, Really — at Exit 4 Food Hall

Craving cheesy goodness in Westchester? Mount Kisco’s Exit 4 Food Hall is thinking outside the box — the donut box, that is.

We’ve all had donuts before. They tend to be dipped in glaze, coated in sugar, or stuffed with cream. Basically, they’re sweet, rendering them unsuitable for meals like lunch or dinner. Well, until now, as Exit 4 Food Hall has added savory donuts to their menu.

Meet the mac ’n’ cheese and spaghetti donuts. To whet your appetite a little, the mac ’n’ cheese donuts are crunchy on the outside and cheese-pull gooey on the inside. Exit 4 Food Hall’s homemade mac n’ cheese (already a menu staple) is made with a blend of Gruyère, Monterey Jack, Fontina, and cheddar cheeses. Then, it’s dipped in panko breadcrumbs, fried until crisp, and served with a maple bacon jam and marinara sauce for dipping.

The spaghetti donuts are made with angel hair pasta coated in a Bolognese sauce, and are even tastier than the mac n’ cheese ones. Don’t skip the spicy vodka sauce drizzle — it’s heavenly. These are on the specials menu, so call ahead to see if they’re available: Orders of donuts cost $12, but come with three, so bring a friend.
