With autumn officially here, several Westchester restaurants are adapting their menus to quell some of our colder-weather cravings. Here are the goods on the gourd offerings at five of our favorite eateries.

tredici SOCIAL

104 Kraft Ave, Bronxville; 914.793.1313
Best known for handmade pastas, fresh seafood, and steak, the rich and savory Ravioli Zucca is part dinner, part dessert featuring homemade ravioli filled with pumpkin, butternut squash, sweet potato, and ricotta with brown butter and sage, and finished with (ready?) crumbled amaretti cookie and whiskey sugar brulee.

For a lighter take on a fall meal, the Brussels Sprout Salad is a smash hit with roasted butternut squash mixed with shaved Brussels sprouts, duck bacon, diced apple, currants, and pine nuts over organic baby kale, and tossed in a goat cheese vinaigrette.

578 Anderson Hill Rd, Purchase; 914.997.4113
That light and crisp Brussels Sprout Salad is also on the menu at lunchtime at this SOCIAL sister location up the line, but here the Pear Salad at lunch is a succulent stand out with fried Delicata squash, sliced pears, and shaved red onion over baby arugula, finished with pecorino cheese and truffle honey vinaigrette.

Sweet-Grass Grill

24 Main St, Tarrytown; 914.631.0000
At this village hotbed of all things locally-sourced and farm-raised, dishes are based on what’s in season, which means fall squash is definitely a thing. The Local Burrata starter is accompanied by a mildly sweet butternut squash agrodolce and grilled grapes with a toasted fennel scallion vinaigrette and peasant toast, while the Organic Half Roasted Chicken is served over a bed of orzo, butternut squash, pepita, radish greens, agave, and sherry.

The lunchtime crowd devours the Autumn Hash comprised of scrambled tofu, Delicata squash, beets, kale, potato, cipollini onion, and house-smoked chipotle BBQ sauce.

The Pureganic Cafe

46 Purchase St, Rye; 914.967.2332
It’s like “all squash all the time” at this vegan and paleo café where organic, kosher, dairy- and gluten-free squash-based delights include: butternut squash soup, roasted butternut squash, lentil stew with butternut squash, pasta with zucchini coins, and zucchini noodles or… zoodles!

Hudson Social

11 Station Plaza, Dobbs Ferry; 914.478.3634
In the circa 1889 Dobbs Ferry train station, a stone and terracotta-trimmed archway leads to a plate of squash that is nearly as impressive as the view of the Hudson that serves as a majestic dining companion. Here, a mound of roasted spaghetti squash is the tempting and nourishing foundation for braised kale, wild mushrooms, strips of luscious shaved parmesan, and roasted garlic.
