Want to grab a bite with your four-legged friend in tow? These local restaurants are pooch-approved and great for a meal.

This year’s Westminster Dog Show takes place at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown (June 11 to 13) and, although the scenic site will be closed to visitors, dog lovers will surely get into the spirt of the occasion by watching it on the tube and going out to eat at spots that welcome, well, Spot! These Westchester restaurants are the paw-fect places to enjoy some quality food and drink in the company of your very best friend.   

The Dog Den

You and your furry best friend can enjoy some fun in the sun at this White Plains eatery nicknamed “The Home of Fun on a Bun!” With a wide range of menu items, featuring hot dogs such as “The Buffalo Bill” and “The Cool Beans,” and 25 toppings and condiments to choose from, the possibilities are nearly endless. And while you’re chowing down on one of The Dog Den’s specialty grilled hot dogs on a toasted bun, your furry friend will enjoy their own doggy bag of treats, ensuring that neither you nor your pup ever leave hungry!

Right on the waterfront, this hip and happening social spot offers gorgeous views for both you and Rover. Feeling like a cocktail but don’t want to drink alone? Just ask your server to add a little more ice to the doggy dish and you can both enjoy one on the rocks!

The Lazy Boy Saloon
