Where to Find All-Day Breakfast in Westchester


Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a feast for the family, these restaurants are serving up the most important meal of the day all day.

Face it: As an adult, sometimes you just want pancakes for dinner. There’s no shame in that. The shame would come from not indulging these impulses every so often at one of Westchester’s premier all-day breakfast locations, places that understand where you’re coming from. Here’s a few of our favorites.

Maple & Rose

690 Mamaroneck Ave, Mamaroneck
This hybrid café and coffee shop offers a specialized and simplistic menu that showcases fresh ingredients from local farms, and endless creativity in the kitchen. Think: eggs steamed with the espresso machine to give them a fluffy, creamy texture; Belgian waffles born from an overnight yeast-risen batter yielding a sourdough-like quality; and house made granola, available for purchase in the marketplace. Avocado toast, topped with brightly pickled onions, lemon juice, and Aleppo pepper flakes, is a particular crowd pleaser.

Stanz Café

26 Chatsworth Ave, Larchmont
Starting out as a small storefront, this family-owned chow spot has matured into a full-on brunch café brimming with elevated, insta-worthy grub. Among the omelets and sammies, specials include bacon, egg, and cheese between two Belgian waffles drizzled with Vermont maple syrup and a pork belly and poached egg sandwich topped with fresh microgreens.

The Kitchen Table

71 Westchester Ave, Pound Ridge
Smack dab in the middle of quaint shops and specialty boutiques, this farm-to-table eatery is a local fav for a bounty of brekkie offerings from traditional bacon and egg platters and BECs (with farm eggs and applewood-smoked bacon, natch) to high-brow avocado toast and smoked salmon with caper jam on crisp ciabatta, to their down and dirty breakfast burritos, huevos rancheros, and sweet Nutella toast.

For a taste of Paris in Westchester, marche on into this family-owned and operated café for homemade brioche French toast, a croque madame of eggs, ham, bacon, or sausage, and choice of cheese on a freshly baked croissant, or a GF (or not) treat from the bakery.
