Summer is back and so is TaSH (the Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow Farmers’ Market) every Saturday in Patriot’s Park on Route 9 on the Tarrytown-Sleepy Hollow village border. Numerous stalls at the market feature locally sourced global flavors. If you’re looking to develop your palate, swing by and check out these three vendors.
A labor of love by husband-and-wife duo Masaki and Yukimi Momose, MOMO dressings are made with all-natural ingredients that capture the flavors of Japan. With the philosophy, “Fresh. Local. Safe,” this GMO free, Brooklyn-bottled product is not just tastier but much healthier than your average, store-bought dressing. “We always want to be [the] fresh company,” says Masaki. “We want to be the company which [is] loved by local community.” With dressing flavors like yuzu jalapeño, ginger and caramelized onion, MOMO dressings are sure to bring life to your boring salad. Also don’t miss their addictive garden-fresh edamame dip.

When founder of AnnaMaria’s, Dominque Debroux, moved to America, she couldn’t find the same intense flavors she had grown up with in the Piemonte region of Italy. Now, she shares the rich, distinct taste profile of her home with products like radicchio marmalade and strawberry rose jam. Be on the lookout for AnnaMaria’s bagna verde, which is made in small batches and sold only at farmers’ markets. This multi-purpose sauce is, as Debroux describes, “a chimichurri without the heat,” and is comprised of basil, parsley, and capers.
