Just as the stylishly adorned 250-seat interior of this 1833 former residence and inn mixes traditional (rough-stone walls, heirloom china) and contemporary (paper-shaded pendant fixtures), so does the grass-fed burger. The crisp/funky yuzu pickles give a fragrant aroma and fresh acidity to an otherwise classic version, which includes glistening bacon, Gruyère, and tangy Russian dressing. The accompanying aluminum cone of fries is as addictive as it gets.
