In the Chocolate Conference, Reese’s Cups crushed their competition with two-thirds of the vote. Sorry, Twix.
Despite an early lead by M&Ms, Kit-Kat came from behind to win with 59.5 percent of voters hearts.
Snickers unsurprisingly dominated Almond Joy about 2-to-1.
Lastly, the humble Hershey’s bar trounced Junior Mints, proving once and for all that adding mint only ruins chocolate.
As for the Non-Chocolate Conference, Sour Patch Kids lost by a less-than-10 percent margin in what was generally in our office considered to be a massive upset. Their unseating leaves Twizzlers poised to really shake up the conference.
Starburst utterly annihilated Nerds nearly 4-to-1.
Smarties somehow managed to squeak past Laffy Taffy 55-45.
Finally, Tootsie Roll Pop, very unsurprisingly, walloped Those Wrapped Grandma Hard Candies That Look Like Little Strawberries in the week’s other great 4-to-1 smack-down.
Now onto the Final Four!
