They say if you can’t do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly. Much as we love fine art, junior Picassos we ain’t, so we might need a little liquid courage to really enjoy the process.
Luckily, Westchester is home to several regular paint and sip meet-ups — some BYOB and others with bona fide bars — to help us learn how to love painting (dare we say it?) pourly.

Muse Paintbar
84 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains & Ridge Hill, Yonkers

Part of a larger chain, Muse is a painter’s pub. Snack on bar bites like flatbreads, hummus platters, and ice cream sundaes, all while sipping on beer, wine, and shareable cocktails. Oh, yes, and you’re also painting, ostensibly. Classes typically range from $30-$45 depending on the medium. The venue offers an array of holiday-themed paintings as well.
