I’m partial of course to our magazine’s Wine & Food Week each June but luckily the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest takes place in a completely different month so there’s no reason not to enjoy both.
The 13th edition of the all-New York State-potent-potable event features 75 wineries, 5 distilleries, a Food Truck Corral, and numerous craft breweries as well as more than 100 gourmet specialty food, art, craft, and home goods vendors at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY September 6 and September 7. A complete list of vendors is here.
The Hudson Valley-based wine storage product company Wineracks.com founded the event in 2001 with just 22 wineries and handful of food vendors, and it continues to grow each year. Considering there are more than 300 wineries producing wine in more than 50 New York counties, I’d bet the 100-winery participation level is not too far off.
