Westchester’s favorite Croatian restaurant is planning a special a la carte menu displaying a wide array of choices. The menu’s innovative starters range from a Dalmatian platter with assorted cheeses and meats to a cuttlefish risotto. For your main dish, offerings include pasta lopud, veal chop, and halibut in cartoccio. For dessert, enjoy chocolate lava cake, baklava, palacinke, or the triple threat. Goosefeather at Tarrytown House Estate hosts a New Year’s Eve bash. The restaurant will offer its regular a la carte dining with a handful of specials. Expect a raw bar cart, longevity noodles with caviar, ginger, and lemon butter, and a 16 oz. ribeye with sweet garlic butter and shiso chimichurri. After dinner, the restaurant will be taking over Cellar 49 for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve party from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets cost $105 per person for the party.

Say hello to 2025 alongside a delicious four-course, prix-fixe menu at Half Moon. The Dobbs Ferry eatery will dish up a wide selection of options with appetizers ranging from oysters Rockefeller to chicken lollipop drums. There are 17 entrée choices on the menu, and our eyes are gravitating toward the rainbow trout Navarra with serrano ham, garlic, and aged sherry for the seafood lovers or the steak frites for land lovers. Five dessert options are listed and include fried ice cream, tiramisu, chocolate mousse cake, and more. The dinner is $95 per person, and reservations are open from 4-10 p.m. The real party starts at 10 p.m. with music by DJ Samurai and a bar that’s open until 1 a.m.

Ibiza Kitchen will be open on New Year’s Eve serving up its modern Spanish cuisine. The prix fixed menu includes grilled Dublin Bay prawns, acorn-fed ham that was aged for 48 months, east coast halibut, and more. Ibiza Kitchen offers plenty of gluten free and dairy free options. The regular menu will also be available and the dinner costs $150 pp.

Ring in the new year at La Casa, which is the 2024 Best of Westchester winner for best Mexican restaurant and best margarita. Chef Jean-Georges prepares an a la carte evening meal from 5-7:30 p.m. ($248 pp) to usher in the new year with taste and style. There’s also a four-course, family-style feast menu starting at 8 p.m. Appetizer choices of yellowfin tuna truffle tartare, winter chicory salad, or foie gras with port gelée will be followed by a second course of black sea bass with mushrooms, ginger, scallions, red chili, and coriander; pumpkin ravioli with beurre fondue and black truffle; or seared scallops with brown butter and passionfruit. Next, choose cauliflower grenoblois, charred duck breast with hibiscus-honey glazed pumpkin, or seared beef tenderloin with black truffles, potato hashbrown, and caramelized onion jus. Finally, indulge in one of the two desserts: passionfruit and coconut baked Alaska or dark chocolate mousse sorbet.

One of Armonk’s favorite holiday dining destinations, Moderne Barn has arranged two seatings for its intimate, three-course, prix-fixe dinner on New Year’s Eve. Appetizers run the gamut and include shrimp bisque, tuna tartare, whipped burrata, fried popcorn rock shrimp, and nonna meatballs. For the main course, choose between tasty favorites such as filet mignon, roasted “free bird” chicken, and wasabi pea-crusted salmon, to name a few. To top it all off, think chocolate hazelnut cheesecake, s’mores crème brulee, salted caramel pot de crème, and more. The whole shebang is priced at $98 per person for the first seating at 5 p.m. and $135 per person for the second seating at 8 p.m., the latter which features a more extensive menu.
