The Queen City is having its own restaurant week with approximately 14 restaurants offering three-course menus for $26 (not including drink, tax, and tip). Dine Downtown, New Rochelle Restaurant Week (www.newrochelledowntown.com) takes place March 31 to April 3; participating restaurants include Alvin & Friends, Coromandel, Patrias, A Place 2 Go, Da Giovanni, Gnarly Vine, La Herradura, Little Mexican Café, Modern Restaurant, NoMa Social, Posto 22, Recologie, Sorell, and Zabidury S American comfort foods are offered at the new License 2 Grill (802 Commerce St, Thornwood 914-747-0009; www.license2grillny.com), a 15-seat counter-service eatery where most items are under $10. On the menu: Angus burgers; wings; salads; pulled pork slow-roasted in-house; gluten-free cornflake-crusted chicken; hand-breaded chicken tenders, and homemade turkey chili.
