One of SoHo’s best-kept secrets is opening a Rye location later this year. The menu highlights cross-cultural influences throughout the Mediterranean. You will find responsibly sourced, fresh, and organic ingredients on the brunch and dinner menu.

Basso By PXK
11 King St, Chappaqua
Chef Peter Kelly has partnered with Basso 56 in Chappaqua to give the restaurant a fresh rebrand. The location will relaunch as Basso by PXK later this month, and it’s expected to debut a new menu once doors open. The Italian restaurant serves an unforgettable brunch, lunch, and dinner. The brunch features Italian specialties like fresh pastas, braised meats and sausages, fresh fish, and seafood, as well as fruits, salads, and frittatas. The brunch is $42 per person, and kids under eight eat free. Be on the lookout for a new and improved menu.

La Casa Purchase

La Casa Bronxville has opened its newest Purchase location. This Best of Westchester winner serves elevated Mexican cuisine with artisanal cocktails. Reservations are now available for the Purchase location here.

Lucia’s Trattoria

Lucia’s will open in the old Via Forno space and offer traditional Mediterranean and Sicilian dishes. The fine dining establishment will open later this year.
NADAS Colombian Rainbow Empanadas
64 Halstead St, Harrison
Enjoy gluten-free rainbow empanadas and treats from NADAS. Each of the empanadas are dyed with natural extracts ranging from vegetable to flowers, with different colors signifying different diets, although everything at the restaurant is gluten-free. Flavors range from meats and cheese to vegetable options. Carlos and Olga Santos operated Aqui Es Santa Fe in Port Chester for 17 years before closing down in 2020. From their new Harrison location, customers can expect a cafe-style quick service concept that’s built on empanadas but will also serve arepas, tostones, sweet plantains, and soups.
“It will be a Colombian bakery vibe with great coffee and fresh blended juices,” notes Carlos, the co-founder of NADAS. He and Olga are looking forward to a soft opening at the end of January and grand opening the first weekend of February.

Nana’s Dim Sum & Dumplings

Nana’s Dim Sum Dumplings is a concept born out of Colorado, and it serves up a large selection of dumplings, dim sum, soups, boa buns, and more. The restaurant will open on White Plains Road in Scarsdale later this month.

The Sea Fire Grill

A high-end seafood joint will open in the previously occupied X20 Xaviars location closer to the summertime. The Sea Fire Grill is owned by Benjamin’s Restaurant Group, which operates Benjamin Steakhouse Westchester in White Plains.
Vesta Kitchen
60 Halstead Ave, Harrison
Later this month, the owner of Vela Kitchen in Pleasantville will be opening Vesta Kitchen. The menu is expected to be similar to Vela Kitchen with new American cuisine offerings.
