In a place sporting a low-slung roof, bent walls, and a taxidermied bear above the bar, the burger better be a bit untidy and require two hands to eat (and not dainty hands at that). The Smokehouse burger, well priced at $13, is just that: 10 oz of juicy mess — approximately four-napkins messy — dripping with Vermont cheddar and topped with three pieces of excellent crispy bacon, caramelized onions, and a not-overwhelming amount of modestly sweet barbecue sauce.
