Winter may be here, but we’re already looking ahead to the glorious return of our favorite time of year — and we’re not talking about spring.

Winter may be here, but we’re already counting down to the return of prix fixe meals at some of the top restaurants in Westchester and the Hudson Valley.

When it comes to our favorite biannual events, the equinoxes and solstices come in a distant second and third to our one true love: Hudson Valley Restaurant Week (HVRW). You know, the two-week event that celebrates some of the finest restaurants in the region?

Valley Table, our sister publication and creator of this wondrous, bountiful collection of the region’s top restaurants all coming together to offer tasting menus of their signature and specialty dishes, has just announced HVRW 2023’s spring dates.

From Monday, March 20 all the way through Sunday, April 2 — so a full two weeks of delicacies, if you can withstand it — you can snag a three-course prix fixe lunch or dinner. The meals are going for either $24.95, $29.95, $39.95, or $44.95 at each participating establishment. Once again this season, restaurants have the option of providing these menu options both for dine-in and carry-out.

There are no passes or tickets required to dine at the participating restaurants. All you need to do is browse the menus and pick whichever meal is calling your name and book a reservation! Reservations are highly recommended and required at some restaurants.

This year, there are more than 45 Westchester restaurants in the mix. A few notable names include Peekskill’s Fin & Brew, Harvest on Hudson in Hastings, and Moderne Barn in Armonk, to name only a few of the Westchester restaurants — and hundreds of locations throughout the Hudson Valley — participating in the celebration of all things gormandizing.

Head over to the full list of participating restaurants to check out the menus, find out when the restaurants are offering the prix fixe meals, and make a reservation on OpenTable.
