It’s finally happening. After a year of waiting, Westchester is getting its very first Halal Guys.

Coming together faster than its Yonkers counterpart, The Halal Guys will be opening in The Galleria mall at 100 Main Street in White Plains this Saturday, January 18. And guys, the grand opening party is kind of insane.
The shop will open at 11 a.m. and celebrate until 3 p.m., with the first hundred customers receiving a free platter. After that? The next hundred guests will get platters 2-for-1. Plus, every customers has the chance to win a free Apple Watch and/or free Halal Guys for three months. Do you know how much baba ganouj that is?
Festivities also include a DJ, photobooth, henna tattoos, balloon art for the kids, and sweet free Halal merch like T-shirts, PopSockets, and freakin’ white sauce and hot sauce pillows!
“We are thrilled and excited to bring New York’s favorite ‘street’ cuisine to White Plains, which has waited patiently for our arrival,” says franchise owner Jack Yeung.
The delicious street cart-turned-fast Mediterranean empire has developed a reputation for die-hard followers. The new location will offer the usual favorites — gyros, falafel, hummus, baklava, etc. — topped with its famous secret recipe ‘white sauce’ and fresh toppings not typically available at its en plein air cousins.
“We specialize in fresh food, cooked and served in front of you,” Yeung says. “Our chicken has never been frozen. It’s marinated and seasoned overnight, chopped fresh, and served directly from the grill to your plate. Guests will find all the terrific things they love about the original food trucks, with the added benefit that they’ll be able to sit and linger over their meals in comfort.”
