H.V Restaurant Week Approaches and Turn Over That New Leaf!

Limber Up those Clicking Fingers: H.V. Restaurant Week Approaches

Here’s a heads-up for you cheapskates trying to snag the hottest tables: This winter’s Hudson Valley Restaurant Week runs from March 14 through March 27. You’ve still got time to visit a fat farm or do the Master Cleanse, and, believe me, you’ll want to make room for all the feasting. You know the drill—three-course dinners for $28; lunch for $20. The hot tables/times go fast, so get online and book today. For a full list of participating restaurants (and possible Friiday/Saturday night exclusions), visit HV Restaurant Week’s website.

Turn Over that New Leaf!

It’s a brand-new year and a great time to try something new. Here are two novel food-and-bev skills to add to your roster.

Darts on Monday Nights at Birdsall House
7:30pm sign-in for 8pm game
$10 entry fee, with prizes

Look, folks, I don’t pretend to know the rules of the game of darts, so I’ll just quote Birdsall House’s cryptic announcement: “Double elimination, blind draw for partner. Winner of bull toss chooses first shot or game: 501 or cricket. 75% to first-place team, 25% to second-place team. Growler fills for Ton 80s, R9s, C6s.” I’m not sure, but I think this means free beer and the permission to throw weapons indoors.
