There will be something for everyone at the Grand Tasting Village, with more than 40 local restaurants participating and over 200 wines and spirits offered this year. Taco lovers can choose between four different spots, including Taquerio Taco Bar and The Taco Project. Looking for a classic Italian-style home-cooked meal? Check out Augustine’s Salumeria E Pasta Joint or Bronx Little Italy. For anyone seeking global flavors, feel free to travel through cuisine by trying RaaSa or Matanzas Cuban Cafe. If you want to engage your sweet tooth, there’s Baked After Midnight and Nothing Bundt Cakes. And finally, if you need a pick-me-up after all that, stop by Coffee Labs Roasters.
As for entertainment, there will be chef demos running throughout the day at the Grand Tasting Village. The demos will feature Celebrity Chef David Burke of Red Horse by David Burke; Chef Anthony Goncalves of Kanopi; Iron Chef America Season 4 winner and renowned Hudson Valley Chef Peter X. Kelly; and Emilio Ugarte of RiverMarket Bar and Kitchen. There will be plenty to learn…and consume.
