Can’t get enough of the featherlight treats? Here’s where to find macarons of all flavors and fillings locally.

Now that cold weather is long behind us, we’re indulging our sweet tooth with light-as-air, pastel-hued French macarons. (And forget showing up to a barbecue with a measly bag of chips; did we mention they make an excellent party platter?) Filled with rich ganache, jam, or gooey caramel, these chic little almond-meringue cookies are our new go-to sugar fix. Here’s where to go to score yours.

Bella’s Bake Shop

Want a cozy place to meet up with friends for a pastry to eat and a latte to drink? Look no further than Bella’s Bake Shop in Mount Kisco. Oh, and while you’re there, grab a macaron! Word on the street is they’re show-stopping and available in a variety of decadent flavors.

Flour and Sun Bakery

Opened in 2009, Flour and Sun was “Westchester’s First Cupcake Bakery” but has since blossomed into so much more. The to-die-for macarons come in tantalizing flavors such as red velvet and confetti fun, and are the perfect cheat day treat you’ve been craving.

Just off Main Street in Peekskill lies a perfect bakery chock full of nearly every baked good you could possibly imagine. Of course, that would include the mouth-watering macarons. With flavors like piña colada and crème brûlée, you will not regret a trip to Homestyle Desserts.
