Looking for fall-themed cocktails to warm up while you chill out in Westchester? These drinks lean into all your favorite autumn flavors.

Additional reporting by Aliya Bashir and Scout O’Donnell.

As soon as the first crisp wind blows into town, it’s hard to think of anything besides pumpkin-flavored madness. These Westchester restaurants have fully leaned into the season, so raise a glass and toast a fall-themed cocktail to the official start of sweater weather.

Company Chophouse and Grill

7 Madison Ave, Larchmont; 914.341.1171

Apples and bourbon go together like pumpkin and spice. Blending these complementary flavors, Company Chophouse and Grill has created the ultimate sophisticated fall cocktail: the apple butter old-fashioned. Swirling together in a shaker are the marquee elements of the drink: apple butter, apple cider, and bourbon. Served with a cinnamon sugar rim and a smoking cinnamon stick, the drink is as show-stopping as it is delicious.

Hudson Social

11 Station Plz, Dobbs Ferry; 914.478.3634

Stop by the Hudson River to take in the autumn foliage while sipping on the latest fall cocktails from Hudson Social. While there are many festive ones to choose from, the hot apple cider is a must-try. With a choice of either bourbon or dark rum, the flavors of the rich alcohol are enhanced by Hudson’s Social special apple cider recipe, which includes a variety of seasonal spices.

Jack’s Bar & Restaurant

219 Main St, Eastchester; 914.652.7650

When it comes to utilizing the flavors of the season, Jack’s does it right — and then some. With a perfect 10 lineup of fall sips, there’s truly something for everyone. The simple yet scrumptious apple cider mimosa is to the point: It’s fall, it’s boozy, and it’s the perfect brunch accompaniment to sip in your cardigan (because duh).

L’inizio

698 Saw Mill River Rd, Ardsley; 914.693.5400

If you’re not one for the pumpkin and apple crowd, L’inizio offers the perfect fall-inspired drink sans those tropes. The spiced pear cocktail will keep you warm and cozy from the inside out while showcasing an often-overlooked seasonal fruit: pears. This lovely soiree of pear juice, St. Germain, and vodka is served up in a coupe glass for extra civility.

Maria

11 Huguenot St, New Rochelle; 914.636.0006

For something as luscious and wicked as an October evening, Maria offers up this sultry night cap (or party starter, we don’t judge here). Dubbed the “You Already Know,” this take on an espresso martini is a tough libation to pass up. Stout-barreled whiskey, Wild Arbor cream liqueur, cold brew coffee liqueur, and espresso is a potion that just begs to be enjoyed with a hint of mischief.

tredici NORTH

578 Anderson Hill Rd, Purchase; 914.997.4113

If you’re feeling a little devilish, sonder up to the bar at tredici NORTH for some shenanigans, err, cocktails. The Poison Apple offers the perfect duality (good and evil, anyone?) of sweet and spiced, mingling spiked apple cider, spiced rum, fresh cinnamon, diced apples, and a splash of prosecco for bubbles. If you’d prefer to stick to your fall vibes roots, the Pumpkin Pie-Tini is far from basic. Organic pumpkin vodka, house-made pumpkin puree, and cinnamon syrup circled by a graham cracker rim is a sip of the season, served up high. Bonus points for the skeleton ice cubes, because the devil is always in the details — and the third round, or so.

Bonus: Beer Here!

Peekskill Brewery

47 S Water St, Peekskill; 914.734.2337

If you fancy a hearty ale over a fancy cocktail, then Peekskill Brewery has the brew for you. With a 5.6% ABV, Ichabod’s Fall is a pumpkin ale with daring pumpkin flavor that’s just perfect for a tailgate or blue-skied fall weekend. Made in partnership with Tarrytown restaurant Horsefeathers (owner Julie McCue is the Halloween Queen herself) the brew is available both at the restaurant and at the brewery’s tap room.

Wolf and Warrior

195 E Boston Post Rd, White Plains; 914.368.8617

An homage to our county’s most famous equestrian, The Horseman’s Pumpkin Ale rides straight into this White Plains brewery. Clocking in at 7.7% ABV, this brew is worthy of everyone, witches or otherwise. With 40lbs of pumpkin in the mash and spiced heartily with ginger, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla, this ale is optimally enjoyed with good friends and spooky stories. It’s currently both on draft and available in growlers at the taproom. Enjoy responsibly…and don’t lose your head.

And for Home-Based Cocktailing:

Attention whiskey drinkers: Current Spirits distillery and Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, both in Elmsford, have come together in a neighborly collab to produce the new Autumn Blaze Spiced Malt Whiskey, distilled using Captain Lawrence’s Autumn Blaze Pumpkin Ale. Filled with aromatic spices and an oaky profile, each sip tastes like fall. But don’t take our word for it — sip for yourself!
