Stuffed grilled cheese—mac & cheese hugging a burger on buttery, grilled Texas toast—looks like a cry for attention and is worth every bit you’ll give it. Prefer your burgers and pasta to have some personal space? Try the Grease Truck burger (fried pickles, fried onions, tater tots, and mozzarella) or Hot Mess mac & cheese (chipotle peppers and fried onions).
Crisped, charred, bedded down with bacon, craisins, and Gorgonzola—could these Brussels sprouts be any fattier or more tasty?
“Tot-chos” (tater tot nachos), tricked out with cheddar, bacon, tomatoes, and onion, are even better at breakfast the next day.
Vegetarians will find worthy options—such as this signature salad, burrito salad (with quinoa, cheddar, roasted corn, tomato, and kidney beans), all-veggie lasagna, and DIY veggie burger.
Oreo mousse in a jar forces you to dig, dig, dig through whipped cream to get to the pudding and oreo crumbles below. Strawberry shortcake is also served in a jar; ice cream is sandwiched between grilled waffles. Bread pudding with bacon and sliced bananas was sold out.
“Bring us a ‪#woodenspoon & we will hang it up and hand you an ice-cold beer or delicious glass of wine! Save the Italian butts!!” reads their Facebook page. Drinks for everyone, aside from the above-mentioned wine and beer (a geeky mix of bottles, cans, and taps), range from egg creams to hand-squeezed lemonade.
