Westchester restaurateurs were cringing when they heard that Bourdain was hitting the Hudson Valley; no one was volunteering to be the subject of his snarking-for-dollars on No Reservations. Predictably, Mohonk Mountain House got the snidey Stanley Kubrick/Shining treatment, posing the perennial question, “What do they do with all those rooms, anyway?” Thankfully, Chef Peter Kelly of X20 managed to trump the boozy smart aleck by flashing his even funnier pal, actor Bill Murray. He’s the American icon from Stripes, Groundhog Day and the weepingly hilarious Caddyshack.
