Restaurants from the city’s BID are joining together to offer diners big discounts as part of the “Yonkers Is Back to Business” campaign.
Just weeks after kicking off the city’s “Yonkers Is Back to Business” campaign at the Cross County Shopping Center with “Christmas in July,” Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano has joined with local restaurateurs and the Yonkers Downtown Business Improvement District to launch a sweeping program to benefit favorite eateries throughout the downtown area.
“The Downtown Summer Celebration is a great way to boost the local economy and allow residents and visitors to dine at some of their favorite restaurants at special discounts,” says Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano. “The newest iteration to the campaign is meant to spur our growing business community and show that Yonkers is stronger than ever.”

The event will run from August 12 through the end of the month and features discounts at many local restaurants, including X2O Xaviars on the Hudson, Dolphin, Zuppa Restaurant, the Francey Brady’s, La Bella Havana, the new Bougie Brews, and more. Discounts range from 10-15% off dine-in orders to free sparkling wine or dessert with your meal.

“There are a wide variety of restaurants and businesses in the downtown area that have been thriving for many years, so it is important to us at the Yonkers Downtown BID to support these staples of the community,” says Yonkers Downtown BID Executive Director Sara Brody. “Partnering with Mayor Spano and the City of Yonkers on the back-to-business initiative has been great. Joining forces to support local businesses is more important than ever before.”
